Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Mangulan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blaine Evans!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Mangulan counters with a slapping leg kick.
Evans shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mangulan sprawls well. Mangulan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Evans gets slowly back to his feet.
Evans fails in his attempt to clinch.

Mangulan drives through and clinches with Evans against the cage.
Mangulan throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Evans tightens his grip and picks Mangulan up, before dumping him to the ground. Mangulan manages to land in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Blaine Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
