Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Biggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilcox comes to the cage accompanied by Low Man's Lyric by Metallica. Jason Biggs has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mark Wilcox's chin.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggs takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Biggs feints and as Wilcox raises his hands in defense, Biggs changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Biggs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Wilcox is looking to stand up but Biggs isn't so interested in that idea.
Biggs tries to free his leg and advance position but Wilcox is retaining full guard.
Biggs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Biggs is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wilcox gets his way!

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Wilcox will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wilcox flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Biggs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jason Biggs just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wilcox has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wilcox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Biggs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mark Wilcox.
I think Wilcox has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
