Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Booker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a leg kick but Booker moved away.
Daniels tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Daniels misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Daniels throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Booker tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Daniels is in Booker's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Daniels makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Daniels throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Booker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Daniels throwing strikes but missing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Booker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Booker wants to stand but Daniels is controlling the position.

Daniels postures up and lands a big shot to Booker's brow.

Booker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Daniels scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daniels looks to land a strike but Booker avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Booker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Daniels off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Booker shoots for a double leg takedown but Daniels sprawls well. He's pushed Booker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Booker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Daniels sprawls well. Daniels wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Booker gets slowly back to his feet.

Daniels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Daniels shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Booker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Booker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Booker controls Daniels momentarily but Daniels frees himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Daniels is working Booker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Daniels throws an elbow that misses. Booker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Daniels's guard. Nice move by Booker!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Daniels dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Daniels stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Daniels uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Booker.
Daniels pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Booker back to the cage. Daniels follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Booker tries to bum rush Daniels with a series of wild strikes but Daniels uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Booker wants to clinch up but Daniels keeps it at a distance.
Daniels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Booker moves away.
Jack Daniels is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Daniels misses with an uppercut

and Booker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Daniels's guard now.
Daniels lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Booker!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Booker throws his legs up looking for a submission but Daniels uses it to pass to side control.

Daniels wants to lay and pray for a moment but Booker keeps working.

Booker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Booker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Daniels throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Daniels sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Booker is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Booker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Daniels is stalling here. Booker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Daniels seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Booker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Daniels is looking for a sweep.
Daniels is not content to let Booker control the position.

Jack Daniels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Booker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Booker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Daniels is defending well for now.
Booker is trying to drag Daniels to the mat but Daniels just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Daniels wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Booker has him pressed against the cage.

Booker misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Daniels.

Booker on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Booker wants to take the fight to the mat but Daniels manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Booker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Daniels avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Booker in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Daniels tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Booker!
