Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carwin comes to the cage accompanied by kill or be killed. Gray has chosen Pink Floyd - Any Color You Like as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shane Carwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brett Gray! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray shoots in for a takedown but Carwin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Carwin misses with a body kick. Carwin tries to clinch but Gray is having none of it. Gray thows a left - swing and a miss! Carwin throws a body kick that misses. Carwin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carwin shoots in looking for a takedown but Gray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carwin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gray stuffs the takedown attempt from Carwin. Carwin gets slowly back to his feet. Gray throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Gray pivots, looking for a leg kick but Carwin is out of range and Gray settles back down. Gray blocks the body kick.
Gray scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Carwin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gray manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Carwin throws a head kick that misses. Gray looking to score a takedown here. Carwin is defending well but Gray drives through and ends up in Carwin's guard. Carwin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gray is one step ahead there. Carwin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gray defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Carwin looking to control.
Gray scoring with some ground and pound. Gray lands a couple of digs. Gray cracks Carwin with a solid left hand. Gray postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gray's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gray accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gray throws a big elbow that misses. Carwin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gray on the ground. Gray trying to control but Carwin is working from the bottom. Carwin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gray sitting in guard, not really doing much. Carwin is looking to stand up but Gray isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gray postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gray wants to control from the top but Carwin keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brett Gray was stalling too much, according to the referee. Gray lands a nice shot to the body.
Good work by Carwin as he checks the leg kick. Gray thows a body shot but no joy. Gray throws a shot to the body.
Brett Gray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carwin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Carwin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Gray displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carwin. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Carwin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gray throws a shot from downtown. Carwin moves away and avoids it. Carwin avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Carwin dives in and grabs Gray's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gray pushes down on Carwin's head and hops out. Gray lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gray walks into a straight right hand from Carwin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carwin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gray throws an off balance right hand
and Carwin counters with a nice kick to the body. Gray throws a big shot that misses. Carwin ducks right into an uppercut from Gray. The crowd cheers as Gray lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carwin doesn't seem phased though. Carwin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Nice straight punches there by Gray. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gray. Carwin throws a half hearted mid kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carwin is defended easily by Gray. Carwin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gray moves into range and clinches up with Carwin. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Gray lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Carwin backwards. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gray as Carwin tries to tie him up. Carwin can't get the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knees to the body from Carwin.
Gray wants to break free but Carwin has control.
Carwin can't find room to land a body shot as Gray controls the action.
With the fighters up against the cage, Carwin throws an elbow but misses. Gray wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carwin has him pressed against the cage. Carwin is struggling to control the position. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Carwin fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Carwin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carwin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gray fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gray scores with a nice strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Gray dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A head kick misses from Carwin. Carwin checks a leg kick. Carwin thows a body shot but no joy. Carwin slips a straight right by Gray. Carwin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gray misses with a body shot.
Brett Gray seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gray throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gray shoots in and gets a takedown into Carwin's guard. Gray working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carwin's head. Gray scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carwin trying to keep a closed guard but Gray is proving a slippery customer.
Gray engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gray is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gray postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Gray with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gray is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Carwin wants to get back to his feet but Gray is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gray postures up and lands a big shot to Carwin's brow. Gray throwing strikes but missing. Gray working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carwin's head. Gray slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Carwin has momentary wrist control but Gray slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carwin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gray gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gray lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Gray has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gray's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gray throwing strikes but missing. Carwin is looking to stand up but Gray isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gray with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Gray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gray distracts Carwin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Gray won't allow Carwin to sweep him here. Gray working some strikes from top position. Carwin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Gray trying to control the position from guard on top but Carwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gray stands up over Carwin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Carwin is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carwin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Oh Carwin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Carwin has momentary wrist control but Gray slips an elbow through the middle. Gray gets to his feet and stands over Carwin, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Carwin felt that one! Gray unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Carwin from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brett Gray! Brett Gray took to the mic in his post fight interview and said '"I decided to cut some weight for this fight but unfortunately for Shane I didn't cut talent.Stockton! 209!I got jokes ALL DAY, I got chokes ALL DAY, and on Facebook I get pokes ALL DAY!"'.
