Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Soichirou Nagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Lokey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soichirou Nagi looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagi swinging wildly here.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nagi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lokey - the referee stops the clock and Nagi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lokey. Nagi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Lokey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nagi's waist but Nagi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lokey off to one side.
Nagi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nagi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lokey tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nagi counters with a three punch combo that has Lokey backing up. Lokey nods at Nagi to acknowledge the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No joy there for Nagi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
