Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Phelps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Da Coach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Phelps! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phelps connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Phelps is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Coach shoots in and bounces Phelps off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Coach drops back looking for a leg! Phelps is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Phelps manages to kick Coach off! Coach jumps back into Phelps's guard. Coach drops back looking for a leg! Phelps is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Phelps manages to kick Coach off! Coach jumps back into Phelps's guard. Coach is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Coach controls from within his opponent's guard. Coach tries to free his leg and advance position but Phelps is retaining full guard. Coach is pushing down on Phelps's leg trying to pass to half guard. Phelps is fighting to maintain full guard but Coach has managed to sneak the leg through. Coach moves into full mount! Phelps won't be happy about that! Coach has hold of Phelps's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Phelps manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Coach but it's paid off an Phelps is forced to tap! Nice work by Coach.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Da Coach! Our winner, Da Coach, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
