Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simija Nomurokai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimo Padalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Simija Nomurokai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dimo Padalski! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nomurokai drives through with a takedown into Padalski's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Nomurokai trying to control the position from guard on top but Padalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nomurokai won't allow Padalski to sweep him here. Padalski trying to control the position.
Nomurokai passes Padalski's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Padalski is staying active underneath Nomurokai, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nomurokai is taking a breather. Padalski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Simija Nomurokai just wasn't active enough. Padalski throws a leg kick but Nomurokai moved away. Nomurokai throws a jab when Padalski was well out of range. Nomurokai blocks a low kick nicely. Nomurokai gets in close and instigates a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nomurokai takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Padalski is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Nomurokai is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Padalski is defending well for now. Nomurokai can't break the clinch.

Nomurokai has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Padalski lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Nomurokai pushes Padalski back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Padalski blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Padalski is trying to stall.

Padalski throws a head punch that misses. Padalski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nomurokai walks away with a smile on his face. Padalski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Nomurokai is trying hard to land a takedown here. Padalski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nomurokai tries to clinch but Padalski moves out of range. Padalski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Padalski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Padalski gets caught flat footed, as Nomurokai shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nomurokai trying to control the position from guard on top but Padalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nomurokai trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Padalski is trying to control the position but Nomurokai postures up. Nomurokai trying to control but Padalski is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Simija Nomurokai. Nomurokai listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nomurokai is trying hard to land a takedown here. Padalski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nomurokai walks into a stiff left hand from Padalski. Nomurokai dodges the punch combination from Padalski.
Nomurokai tries for a takedown but Padalski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simija Nomurokai. That's going to take a lot out of him. Padalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nomurokai tries to avoid it but Padalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nomurokai to the ground. Nomurokai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Padalski misses with a looping right. Nomurokai drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Padalski is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Nomurokai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Padalski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nomurokai has managed to get both his arms back between Padalski's legs - danger averted. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nomurokai trying to control but Padalski is working from the bottom. Nomurokai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Padalski swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simija Nomurokai dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Padalski is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Nomurokai has denied him. Nomurokai has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Padalski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Nomurokai misses with a body punch.

Nice takedown defense from Nomurokai. No joy for Padalski on that attempt. Nomurokai slips a straight right by Padalski. Both fighters circling a little - Nomurokai finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Padalski misses with the combination.
Padalski is breathing heavily. Padalski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nomurokai manages to avoid it. The fight stays on the outside here - Nomurokai looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nomurokai closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Padalski quickly recovers to half guard.

Nomurokai content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Padalski works his way to full guard. Good work. Nomurokai trying to control but Padalski is working from the bottom. Nomurokai loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Nomurokai advances to half guard. Nomurokai looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Nomurokai is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Nomurokai is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Padalski defends it well.

Nomurokai is trying to control. Padalski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Padalski is trying to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nomurokai trying to mount his opponent but Padalski defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nomurokai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Padalski's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Padalski being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nomurokai is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Nomurokai throwing strikes from guard but Padalski blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nomurokai is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nomurokai seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Padalski for as long as he can get away with. Nomurokai stands and throws Padalski's legs to the side, diving into side control. Padalski tries to buck Nomurokai off but Nomurokai is having none of it. Nomurokai wants to control but Padalski is keeping him busy. Who's going to make the next move? Dimo Padalski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Nomurokai wants to control but Padalski is keeping him busy. Nomurokai moves into full mount! Padalski wants to hold on but Nomurokai pushes him away. Nomurokai is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Padalski can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Padalski manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nomurokai tries to score with some ground and pound. Padalski controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Padalski wants to control but Nomurokai postures up. Padalski prevents Nomurokai from improving position. Nomurokai is staying tight to Padalski's torso, preventing him from escaping. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nomurokai is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Padalski looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nomurokai gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Padalski is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nomurokai lets go of the hold and Padalski can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Simija Nomurokai! Simija Nomurokai very nearly forgot to thank Hell's Kitchen Lab Corp (159.49 $150) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
