Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leiden swings widly with a right hand
and Nakamura counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nakamura.
Nakamura drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Leiden misses with a hook to the ribs.
Nakamura tries for a takedown. No joy.
Nakamura is looking to take this one to the mat.
Yang Leiden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiro Nakamura.
Leiden landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Leiden is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Leiden controls Nakamura momentarily but Nakamura frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nakamura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leiden circles away quickly and effectively.
Nakamura uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leiden.
Nakamura checks the leg kick nicely there.
Leiden scores with a hook to the body. Nakamura takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nakamura connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Leiden's hands.
Leiden takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nakamura throws the left hand but Leiden avoids the punch easily.
Leiden jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nakamura misses with a left hand
and Leiden connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nakamura on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Leiden moves out of range as Nakamura strikes.
Nakamura lands with a hook. Leiden tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nakamura throws a jab when Leiden was well out of range.
Leiden connects with an inside leg kick.
Nakamura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leiden but Leiden pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nakamura misses the shot to the body.
Nakamura clinches.
Leiden throws a head punch that misses.

Leiden misses with an elbow strike.
Nakamura misses with some punches.
Leiden creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Nakamura's defenses.
It looks like Hiro Nakamura has been cut.
Leiden dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Leiden.

Nakamura throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Nakamura fails to pull guard.
Leiden is looking to break free of the clinch but Nakamura has double underhooks.
Nakamura is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Leiden is defending well.
Leiden's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nakamura is trying to pull guard but Leiden turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leiden lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Leiden putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Nakamura in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Leiden is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Nakamura tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Leiden's elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yang Leiden will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Hiro Nakamura's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Leiden throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nakamura tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Leiden is in Nakamura's guard.
Nakamura manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nakamura is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Leiden is working to get back to half guard.
Leiden tries to lock up and control but Nakamura gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nakamura has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Leiden's face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakamura tries to control but Leiden wriggling away.
Leiden tries to hold on but Nakamura pushes him away.
Nakamura wants to control the pace but Leiden is squirming around nicely.

Leiden tries to hold on but Nakamura pushes him away.
Nakamura has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
