The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly moves away from the strike by William.
Willis William seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kelly jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… William is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by William and Kelly has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
William is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kelly off and has taken his back!
William controlling well, preventing Kelly from escaping the position.
Kelly breaks William's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Kelly pushing down on William's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Kelly is trying to work for a kimura but William is defending well.
Kelly is thwarting William's attempts to control the position.

William is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kelly scores with a couple of nice shots.
Kelly is looking for a kimura but William is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kelly to get the leverage.
Kelly is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelly thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed William's head.
William is looking to control Kelly's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can William avoid being mounted?

Kelly is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
William is defending against the submission attempts here by Kelly.
Kelly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kelly drops back, looking for a kneebar! William looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. William looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from William!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly sneaks back into half guard.
Kelly makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kelly.
Kelly manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

William wants to control but Kelly is having none of it.
Kelly breaks from William's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kelly lands a big shot to the head and William winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
