Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drew Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Commodore Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Down's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 50 Cent - I Get Money. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry moves out of range of the strikes.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Perry checks a leg kick.
Perry throws a body punch but Down moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Perry. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Perry.
Perry avoids the head kick by Down.
Perry doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Perry tries to land a front kick but Down steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Perry connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Down's hands.

and Perry cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Perry bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Down's head.
Down motions for Perry to come forward. Down throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Down tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Perry is able to avoid easily.

Down avoids a punch combination nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Down lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Perry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Perry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A looping hook to the body misses from Down. Perry does a little dance to reset his feet.

Down throws a hook to the side of Perry's head but Perry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Perry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Down on the side of the head.
Down avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Perry sizes up Down with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Perry moves out of range as Down strikes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Perry lands with an uppercut that bounces Down off the cage and back into range.

and Down makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Perry really felt that one!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Down, as that shot connected.

Perry takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Down throws a low kick but it's checked well by Perry.
Down tries to bum rush Perry with a series of wild strikes but Perry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Down feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Perrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Perry shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Perry is rocked!
Down lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Perry falls backwards - clearly groggy! Down dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drew Down!
