Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sanny Dahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Kremer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Kremer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sanny Dahl! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Kremer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kremer with a poor takedown and Dahl counters by moving into the clinch. Kremer pulls guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dahl with a flurry of punches that miss. Kremer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dahl is aware though and is defending well. Kremer keeping moving, preventing Dahl from controlling successfully. Kremer has a closed guard, preventing Dahl from standing up. Dahl has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dahl pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kremer is keeping the position for now. Dahl postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kremer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dahl, into his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kremer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dahl had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kremer defends it easily. Dahl is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kremer defends well. Kremer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dahl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kremer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dahl manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kremer has Dahl in his guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dahl passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kremer taking punishment in the form of punches.
Dahl goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kremer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dahl's guard! Nice work there by Kremer! Dahl seems keen to control Kremer's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kremer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dahl has his foot on Kremer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kremer works his way back into a safe position though. Kremer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dahl dives on top into guard. Kremer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dahl doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dahl manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kremer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dahl is working Kremer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Dahl has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kremer to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dahl is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kremer pulls down on the head and he's put Dahl to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matt Kremer!
