Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Whittaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Mai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whittaker comes to the cage accompanied by Jamie T - Sticks 'n' Stones. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mai's choice of entrance music: One. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayden Mai!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Mai with that takedown attempt.
Whittaker throws a right and a left that Mai avoids nicely.

A jab from Mai finds it's way through Whittaker's defenses.
It looks like Dan Whittaker has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Mai misses the target.

Whittaker moves out of range of the body kick from Mai.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mai moves away from the strike by Whittaker.
Mai shoots in for a takedown but Whittaker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Jayden Mai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Whittaker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oh Whittaker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dan Whittaker's cut is getting worse.
Mai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mai throws a head kick but Whittaker moves out of range.
Mai dances in with a quick combination. Whittaker is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mai snaps Whittaker's head back. Whittaker stumbles backwards against the cage. Mai steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Whittaker's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Whittaker just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jayden Mai!
In his post fight interview, Jayden Mai started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
