Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lindquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindquist comes to the cage accompanied by Wacco Will Kick Your Ass. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Lindquist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Quaid!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindquist misses with a head kick.
Quaid ducks under a wild hook from Lindquist.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quaid. Lindquist does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lindquist throws a lazy right hand but Quaid sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lindquist uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quaid.
Quaid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lindquist was well out of range. Poor timing from Quaid.
Robert Lindquist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quaid avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Quaid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lindquist tries to avoid it but Quaid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lindquist to the ground. Lindquist escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Quaid checks a leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lindquist. That's going to slow Quaid down.
Quaid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lindquist was well out of range. Poor timing from Quaid.

Quaid is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lindquist rather than just go for the knockout.
Lindquist feints and then cracks Quaid's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Quaid down.

and Quaid moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quaid trying to control the position but instead, Lindquist has worked for underhooks and has pushed Quaid into the cage.
Quaid lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lindquist backwards.
Lindquist misses with a punch to the body.
Quaid misses with the head strike.

Quaid is trying to trip Lindquist. He has hold of a leg but Lindquist is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Quaid persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Quaid throws an elbow that misses. Lindquist uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Quaid's guard. Nice move by Lindquist!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lindquist postures up in Quaid's guard and throws a big left but Quaid blocks it.
Quaid keeping moving, preventing Lindquist from controlling successfully.
Quaid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Lindquist just wasn't active enough.
Lindquist tries to clinch up but Quaid circles away and keeps his distance.
Lindquist pivots, looking for a leg kick but Quaid is out of range and Lindquist settles back down.
Lindquist is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quaid.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lindquist turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lindquist bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lindquist throws a chopping leg kick but Quaid manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lindquist tries to clinch there but Quaid circles away.
Quaid fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lindquist tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Quaid manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Quaid takes a swing at Lindquist's ribcage but misses.

Quaid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lindquist moves away.

Lindquist throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Quaid.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindquist tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Quaid wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lindquist seems a little lost for a moment, as Quaid dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindquist is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Quaid is putting a hurting on Lindquist here, landing some big shots from side control.
The referee asks Quaid politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Quaid prefers to stall for the moment though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Quaid cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Quaid postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Lindquist badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Quaid around the waist but Quaid pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Quaid is the winner by TKO! Quaid jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Douglas Quaid!
Douglas Quaid really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Revolution Fatigues logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
