PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Samoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Tauno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samoth comes into the arena with Judas Priest - Painkiller blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tauno's choice of entrance music: Pelican - Dead Between The Walls. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tauno scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Samoth drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tauno dives on top into guard.

Tony Tauno has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tauno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Samoth tries to avoid it but Tauno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Samoth to the ground. Samoth escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mikael Samoth will probably get the nod.
That's time! Samoth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Samoth wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tauno throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mikael Samoth.
Tauno swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Samoth feints and then cracks Tauno's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tauno down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tauno is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Samoth is not content to let Tauno control the position.
Tauno slips a nice elbow through Samoth's hands, connecting with Samoth's forehead.
Samoth wants to control but Tauno is keeping busy.
Samoth tries to roll over but Tauno keeps him under control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikael Samoth.
