Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Flair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Flair has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brendan Roll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Flair!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flair shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roll pinned against the ropes. Roll gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice sprawl there from Roll as Flair shoots in.
Roll throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Roll tries to clinch up but Flair circles away and keeps his distance.
Flair shoots for a takedown but Roll saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brendan Roll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Flair.
Flair doesn't manage to clinch there - Roll circles away.
Roll throws a head kick that misses.
Nice takedown defense from Roll. No joy for Flair on that attempt.
Roll throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Flair closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Roll to the mat! Roll manages to get full guard.
Roll has control of Flair's left arm, preventing Flair from doing any damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Roll keeping moving, preventing Flair from controlling successfully.

Roll controls Flair momentarily but Flair frees himself.
Flair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roll swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Roll trying to keep a closed guard but Flair is proving a slippery customer.

Brendan Roll has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Flair tries for a takedown but Roll circles away easily
and Roll counters with a solid body kick.
Flair looks gassed!
Roll fails with an attempt to clinch.
Roll throws a body kick the misses

and Flair counters with a nice double leg into side control. Roll won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roll is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Roll is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Flair's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Roll tries to roll over but Flair keeps him under control.
Roll trying to control but Flair postures up.
Roll slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Roll working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flair doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flair manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Roll is trying to control the position but Flair postures up.

Roll has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Flair should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Roll has tightened it up now! Flair should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
