Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Mutt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Quattro!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quattro is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mutt.
Jab from Mutt.
Mutt is looking to clinch.
Quattro uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mutt tries to close the distance and clinch but Quattro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mutt avoids the body shot from Quattro.
Quattro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Quattro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mutt's guard.
Mutt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mutt tries to get out of the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mutt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Quattro slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mutt tries to buck Quattro off but Quattro is having none of it.
Mutt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mutt looks like he's trying to stand up.

Quattro is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mutt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quattro on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Quattro looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Mutt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mutt.
Quattro trying to control the position from guard on top but Mutt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Quattro pushes down on Mutt's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mutt is holding on to half guard well.

Quattro is thwarting Mutt's attempts to control the position.
Mutt tries to roll over but Quattro keeps him under control.
Mutt is working hard here to advance position.

We're going to have a standup here because Matt Mutt wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Quattro fails with a takedown attempt.

Quattro moves into the clinch successfully.
Quattro has Mutt pressed against the cage, preventing Mutt from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mutt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Quattro's elbow.
Quattro drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Quattro unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mutt lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Mutt is breathing heavily.
Mutt goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Quattro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quattro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mutt's waist but Mutt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quattro off to one side.
Matt Mutt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Quattro.
Mutt tries to bum rush Quattro with a series of wild strikes but Quattro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mutt misses with a two punch combination.
Johnny Quattro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quattro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Quattro misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Mutt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big right from Mutt misses.
Quattro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mutt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quattro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Quattro throws a right hand that Mutt ducks under and follows up with a left that Mutt also avoids with ease.

Quattro lands with a good body shot.
Quattro throws a series of punches but Mutt moves out of range.
Quattro is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Quattro misses with a two punch combination.
Quattro takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Quattro shoots for a double leg takedown but Mutt sprawls well. He's pushed Quattro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Quattro dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Mutt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mutt closes the distance but Quattro moves to the side
and Quattro counters with a straight right hand.
Mutt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Quattro.
Quattro shoots in for a double leg but Mutt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mutt wants to clinch up but Quattro keeps it at a distance.
Mutt throws a push kick but Quattro slaps the foot to one side.
Quattro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnny Quattro seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mutt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Quattro counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Quattro swats away the attempt to clinch by Mutt.
Quattro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mutt as he avoids it easily.

Mutt tries to close the distance and clinch but Quattro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mutt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Matt Mutt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Quattro misses with a few strikes there.
Quattro misses with a series of wild punches.
Mutt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Quattro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Matt Mutt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mutt throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Quattro to counter with a crisp jab.
Mutt doesn't manage to clinch there - Quattro circles away.

Quattro scores a takedown into full mount!
Quattro looking to finish Mutt with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mutt!

Quattro softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Mutt is out cold! Quattro jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
