Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Li Fen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Alice in Chains - Them Bones. Fen has chosen Its The Final Countdown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Fen persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jones stalks Fen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fen's face. Fen staggers backwards, shaken.


That has opened up Li Fen's cut even more.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fen slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Fen wants to clinch.
Jones misses the shot to the body.

Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joseph Jones.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
