Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sakke Pietila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pietila comes to the cage accompanied by Hard Night Out by Professor Green. Vaughn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Walking Tall. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Vaughn swings for the body but Pietila moves out of range.
Pietila swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Some wild striking there from Vaughn.
Vaughn has Pietila up against the cage in a clinch.
Vaughn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pietila smiles and moves away.
Pietila fails with an attempt to clinch.

Pietila lands a body punch in the clinch.
Pietila throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pietila digs a right hand into Vaughn's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Vaughn's gas tank.

Pietila is pressed up against the cage. Vaughn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pietila down to the mat. Pietila avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A jab from Pietila does it's job there.
That has opened up Chris Vaughn's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vaughn takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Vaughn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pietila.
Pietila looks to land a right hand but Vaughn moved out of range.
Pietila tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vaughn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pietila throws a hook to the side of Vaughn's head but Vaughn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pietila lands with a good body shot.
Vaughn misses the jab.
Vaughn will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pietila clinches.
Pietila lands a left hand.
Pietila presses Vaughn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Pietila lands an elbow just above Vaughn 's eye.
Pietila lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pietila is pushing Vaughn up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The cut above Chris Vaughn's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Chris Vaughn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pietila pushes Vaughn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Vaughn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sakke Pietila!
A less than humble Sakke Pietila misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
