Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Scherswaski! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scherswaski swings away with a body shot that misses
and Shortage counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Scherswaski with a poor takedown and Shortage counters with a body kick that stops Scherswaski in his tracks momentarily. Shortage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Shortage is thwarting Scherswaski's attempts to control the position. Scherswaski looking for submissions off his back. Scherswaski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shortage's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shortage's back! Shortage tries to escape the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Scherswaski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Horrible takedown by Scherswaski or perhaps it was just good defense by Shortage which made him look bad. Scherswaski misses with a hook

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Scherswaski moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shortage is desperately trying to improve his position but Scherswaski has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cattle Shortage. Well Shortage has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
