Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maine Flojak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrick Lestat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maine Flojak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fredrick Lestat!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lestat shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lestat was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lestat with the ground and pound from mount.
Flojak is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Lestat with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lestat tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Flojak is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lestat controlling his opponent.
Flojak is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Lestat moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Flojak has worked his arm free - good work by Flojak!
Lestat just content to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flojak is pushing Lestat's head away, looking to escape. Lestat manages to hold on to the position though.

Lestat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flojak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flojak wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Flojak is breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on Flojak's face as Lestat controls the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lestat moves into full mount!
A nice elbow there by Lestat.
Flojak is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Lestat content just to control the position here.

Fredrick Lestat has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Lestat scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lestat is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Flojak will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fredrick Lestat dominated that round.

Flojak misses with a combination
and Lestat counters with a nice uppercut.
Maine Flojak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flojak avoids a kick to the body.

Lestat looking to score a takedown here. Flojak is defending well but Lestat drives through and ends up in Flojak's guard.
Lestat controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lestat stops Flojak from standing up.

Lestat postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lestat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lestat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fredrick Lestat wasn't active enough on the ground.

Lestat looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lestat is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Flojak is looking to escape.

Flojak taking some punishment here, with Lestat in his half guard.
Flojak has hold of Lestat's hands but Lestat slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Fredrick Lestat has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lestat seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lestat is looking for a kimura but Flojak is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lestat to get the leverage.
Lestat has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lestat lands a heavy elbow.
Lestat postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Flojak badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lestat around the waist but Lestat pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lestat is the winner by TKO! Lestat jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fredrick Lestat!
