Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jegjeg Mon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Roxas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Roxas's choice of entrance music: Are You Ready?. Sean Roxas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Roxas! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mon gets caught flat footed, as Roxas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mon strikes from his own guard. Mon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mon wants to sweep but no luck. Roxas throws a big right hand that misses. Roxas makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Mon wants to sweep but no luck. Mon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roxas manages to get himself to full guard.
Roxas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roxas can do anything to dispel that myth. Mon with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Roxas works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mon is looking to work some ground and pound but Roxas has wrist control. Mon throwing strikes from guard but Roxas blocks nicely. Mon with a flurry of punches that miss. Mon scoring with some ground and pound. Mon postures up in Roxas's guard and throws a big left but Roxas blocks it. Mon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Mon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mon throws an elbow that misses. Roxas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mon's guard. Nice move by Roxas! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mon has his foot on Roxas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roxas works his way back into a safe position though. Mon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Roxas escapes and throws Mon's legs to the side, diving into side control! Mon is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Mon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Mon with the ground and pound but Roxas uses the opportunity to regain guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mon lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mon throws a strike but Roxas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Roxas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Mon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roxas! Mon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Roxas turns into him and now he's in Mon's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roxas scoring with punches to the head and body. Roxas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mon is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Roxas works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Roxas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Roxas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Roxas! Mon on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mon is working hard here to advance position. Mon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Roxas connects with a decent elbow. Roxas in side control lands a decent elbow.
Mon is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roxas lands a strong strike to the head of Mon. That's dazed him! Roxas looking to finish here. Mon is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Roxas lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Roxas! Sean Roxas bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
