Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giaro Ferruccio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Giaro Ferruccio was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Peters. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Peters.
Peters looks to land a combination. Ferruccio sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ferruccio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ferruccio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Peters avoids it really well and circles away.

Ferruccio throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Peters tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ferruccio is in Peters's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ferruccio keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peters's head.

Ferruccio shoots for a double leg takedown but Peters sprawls well. He's pushed Ferruccio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
