Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dos Santos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Young Wild and Free. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski clinches.
Dos Santos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kowalski smiles and moves away.
Dos Santos tries to sprawl but Kowalski drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dos Santos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dos Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kowalski defends well.
Kowalski trying to control but Dos Santos is working from the bottom.
Kowalski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kowalski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kowalski wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dos Santos 's closed guard. He's half up but Dos Santos has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Dos Santos pivots and extends the arm, Kowalski falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Dos Santos ! Well done that man!
