The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gurgel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Saruwatari.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gurgel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Saruwatari's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gurgel under the eye.

Gurgel stalks Saruwatari and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Saruwatari's face. Saruwatari staggers backwards, shaken.
Gurgel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gurgel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Saruwatari lands a nice hook to Gurgel's body. Gurgel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gurgel takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Gurgel is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Oh Gurgel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saruwatari lands a big head kick that sends Gurgel tumbling to the mat! Saruwatari takes a step backwards and waves Gurgel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
BOOM! Saruwatari lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gurgel. Gurgel tries to recover but Saruwatari is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gurgel lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaito Saruwatari!
A relieved looking Kaito Saruwatari thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
