Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribera throws a body punch but Kunaida moves out of range.
Jab, jab by Ribera - just one landing.
Ribera lands a nice hook to Kunaida's body. Kunaida takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ribera lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kunaida throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ribera on the side of the head.
Ribera throws a series of punches but Kunaida avoids them all with ease.
Ribera blocks a jab.
Kunaida lands a nice shot to the body.
Kunaida keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kunaida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ribera takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ribera feints a jab promting Kunaida to slip. Ribera then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kunaida slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Masato Kunaida has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ribera moves out of range as Kunaida strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ribera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch lands to the side of Kunaida 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Kunaida is rocked!
Manny Ribera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kunaida glances at the clock... BAM! Ribera nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Kunaida crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Kunaida is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
