Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seamus McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Candy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 25 or 6 to 4. Candy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. zZzz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Candy!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Candy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Candy checks a leg kick.
McDonald is looking to clinch.
Candy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McDonald can pounce on him.
Candy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Candy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McDonald manages to avoid it.
McDonald missing with a left hand there. Candy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A slapping leg kick lands for McDonald.
Candy lands a nice shot that snaps McDonald's head back.
McDonald misses with a right hand
and Candy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Seamus McDonald has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Candy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDonald.
Candy fails to land with a series of punches.
McDonald fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McDonald tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Candy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
John Candy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McDonald wants to land a leg kick but Candy is out of range.
Candy takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McDonald fails with an attempt to clinch.
McDonald throws a push kick but Candy slaps the foot to one side.
McDonald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McDonald throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Candy counter with a right hand.
Candy lands a left and a right that send McDonald crashing to the mat, dazed. Candy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Candy moves out of range of the strikes.
McDonald misses with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Candy cracks the inside of McDonald's front leg.
McDonald throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Candy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McDonald is rocked!
Candy Throws a clean left jab. Candy Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with McDonald's chin! McDonald crumbles to the ground and Candy follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Candy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Candy!
