Papillia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I dont know what those two ladies were singing about that day. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Papillia misses with a jab, cross combination.
Papillia displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ellis.
No luck for Ellis with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Ellis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Papillia takes a swing at Ellis's ribcage but misses.
Ellis thuds a left hand into Papillia's body.
Papillia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ellis manages to avoid it.

Papillia ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ellis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ellis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Quinton Ellis has been cut.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ellis checks a leg kick.
Papillia fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Papillia throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Ellis colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Papillia as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Ellis is left battered and dazed whilst Papillia and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Draught Papillia!
Draught Papillia was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
