Mustaine has chosen This Day We Fight! by Megadeth as his entrance music. Dave Mustaine is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustaine lands with a kick to the temple. Do shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A telegraphed right hand from Mustaine misses the target.
Mustaine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mustaine tries to clinch up but Do circles away and keeps his distance.

Do takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Do with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mustaine to score with a decent uppercut.
Mustaine takes a swing at Do's ribcage but misses.
Mustaine moves in looking to clinch but Do pushes him off.

and Do cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mustaine lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Do circles away quickly and effectively.
Mustaine will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Do counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Do.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Do has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mustaine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Do throwing strikes from guard but Mustaine blocks nicely.
Do lands a couple of digs.
Do postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Do distracts Mustaine with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
