Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Swizzy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elwood Blues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swizzy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, F.A.M.E. Jay Swizzy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Elwood Blues! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blues closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blues lands in his opponent's guard. Blues prevents Swizzy from getting back to his feet. Blues must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Swizzy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Blues trying to control the position from guard on top but Swizzy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Swizzy pushes Blues off and scrambles back to his feet.
Blues closes the distance and pushes Swizzy back into the cage. Blues unloads a knee to the mid-section. Blues gets underhooks to prevent Swizzy's takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Blues cracks Swizzy with a big right hand but Swizzy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Blues is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Swizzy's shoulder. That is not cool. Swizzy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Blues has just dragged him back down to the mat. Blues working the ground and pound. Blues throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Swizzy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Blues trying to control the position from guard on top but Swizzy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blues won't allow Swizzy to get back to his feet. Blues tries to free his leg and advance position but Swizzy is retaining full guard. Blues trying to control but Swizzy is working from the bottom. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Blues scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Swizzy wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Blues manages to pass to side control.

Blues is looking to advance position but Swizzy won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Blues lands a nice short elbow. Blues wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swizzy keeps working. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blues is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Blues trying to control the action but Swizzy is working from the bottom. Blues takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Blues prevents Swizzy from standing back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blues keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Swizzy's head. Swizzy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Blues is in close to Swizzy's body, working some short punches and elbows. Blues throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Blues lands a couple of decent looking shots. Swizzy pushes Blues off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Blues is in close to Swizzy's body, working some short punches and elbows. Blues scoring with punches to the head and body. Blues loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Blues working some strikes from top position. Swizzy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Blues is looking to work some ground and pound but Swizzy has wrist control. Swizzy wants to stand but Blues is controlling the position. Blues wants to control from the top but Swizzy keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blues slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elwood Blues dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

It looks like Jay Swizzy has been cut. Swizzy gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blues makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Blues. Blues is controlling Swizzy's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blues is on top in guard.

Blues shoots in looking for a takedown but Swizzy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Blues's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Elwood Blues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Swizzy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blues sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Swizzy shoots and misses and Blues counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Swizzy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Swizzy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Blues is looking to take a break and control but Swizzy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Swizzy is rocked! Elwood Blues has got the better of the ground game so far. A big shot lands for Blues! That's hurt Swizzy! Will he recover? Blues fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
