Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mariusz Pirzmak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Foreman!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foreman instigates a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Foreman.
Pirzmak tries to break the clinch but Foreman is controlling the position.
Foreman softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Foreman lands a left hand.
Pirzmak is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Foreman gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Pirzmak wants to break free but Foreman has control.
Foreman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pirzmak tries to circle away but Foreman has him pinned against the cage.

Pirzmak blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Pirzmak is looking to break free of the clinch but Foreman has double underhooks.
Foreman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Pirzmak has had enough of the clinch but Foreman keeps him there for the moment.
Foreman tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Pirzmak tries to break free but Foreman pushes him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foreman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Mariusz Pirzmak has been cut.
Pirzmak avoids a wild elbow strike from Foreman.
Pirzmak avoiding damage as Foreman throws knees to the body.
Foreman swings wildly with an uppercut but Pirzmak uses good head movement to avoid it.
Foreman misses with a knee strike.
Pirzmak has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Foreman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pirzmak is looking to control Foreman's arms but Foreman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pirzmak has his back to the cage.
Foreman misses with a body punch.
Pirzmak is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mariusz Pirzmak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Foreman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Pirzmak counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pirzmak walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Foreman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pirzmak.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pirzmak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Foreman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foreman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Foreman misses the shot to the body.
Foreman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Foreman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pirzmak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Pirzmak.
Foreman tries to clinch up.
Pirzmak tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Foreman was well out of range. Poor timing from Pirzmak.
Pirzmak misses with a body shot.
Foreman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Foreman.
Foreman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Foreman pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pirzmak back to the cage. Foreman follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
George Foreman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pirzmak misses with a left hand
and Foreman counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Pirzmak! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Foreman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Foreman!
George Foreman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [CBK] LEGAL HIGHS - AJFC ↑ DOUBLE 160Q * logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
