Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cage Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makunouchi has chosen Hajime no Ippo - Champion Road Intro as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols fails with a takedown attempt.
Nichols tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Makunouchi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Nichols shoots in looking for a takedown. Makunouchi tries to sprawl out of it but Nichols keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Makunouchi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
