Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Captain Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid comes to the cage accompanied by lukenback texas. Sub Zero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero avoids the head kick by Kid.
Kid avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Sub Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zero lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kid throws a hook but Zero avoids it easily.
Kid throws a nice head kick!
Zero misses the jab.
Zero throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kid's head.
Kid slips a jab from Zero.
Zero with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kid counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kid throws a hook to the side of Zero's head but Zero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kid blocks a leg kick.
Zero misses with the combination.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Zero.
Kid prevents Zero from improving position.

Kid is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Zero working the ground and pound but Kid is defending the strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zero creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Zero throwing strikes but Kid manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Zero is looking for a sweep.
Zero sneaks back into half guard.
Zero is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kid's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kid's back!
Kid takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Zero throwing wild punches that miss their target.
I really don't envy Kid right now.
Zero is landing with strikes. Kid can't take much more of this.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zero working for a choke but Kid is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zero patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Zero controlling well, preventing Kid from escaping the position.
Zero struggling to land strikes to the head as Kid covers up.
Kid showing good submission defense here.
Kid has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Zero.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Even with his hooks in, Zero manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Zero is striking well from the back but Kid escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Zero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kid defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sub Zero dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Zero walks into a straight right hand from Kid.
Kid misses with a kick to the body.
That kick from Kid tenderised Zero's leg. Zero is trying to keep his angry face on.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kid.
Zero uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kid.
Kid scores with a sloppy right hand. Zero should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zero shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Zero has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kid.
Zero slips under a jab.
A clash of legs there as Zero blocks the low kick.
Kid throws a low kick, looking for Zero's leg but Zero calmly moves out of range.
Zero walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kid fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zero moves out of range of the body kick.
Zero throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kid takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Zero checks a leg kick.
A big left from Zero misses.
Zero throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zero misses with a low kick.
Kid looks to throw the jab but Zero is out of range.
A jab from Kid misses.
Zero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kid swivels and escapes.
Zero takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zero cracks Kid with a good jab.
Zero lunges at Kid with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kid's hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kid swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kid lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kid.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zero looks to score with a jab to the body but Kid is just out of range.
Kid looks to land a left hand but Zero moved out of range nicely.
Zero tries to score with a low kick but Kid moves his leg out of the way.
Kid misses with a body kick.
No luck for Zero with that takedown attempt.
Kid lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Zero fakes the leg kick and cracks Kid in the body.
Kid cracks Zero with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kid throws a shot from downtown. Zero moves away and avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Whack! Kid lands a heavy head kick that drops Zero. The ref tackles Kid to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Zero was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Captain Kid!
A less than humble Captain Kid misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
