Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Bagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Maiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleg Bagov looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagov tries to clinch

and Maiden counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bagov's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Let's hope that Maiden has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Maiden throws out a loose jab but Bagov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bagov drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Maiden feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bagovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bagov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Bagov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bagov showed some decent athleticism there.

Well Maiden has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
