Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guillaume slips a jab and a cross from McGimly.
Gimly McGimly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by McGimly.
Good leg kick by McGimly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick lands from McGimly that sends Guillaume to the canvas. Guillaume tries to scramble back to his feet but McGimly brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Patrick Guillaume has been cut.

McGimly tries to close the distance and clinch but Guillaume swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McGimly looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Guillaume!
Guillaume is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Guillaume manages to regain half guard. Good work.
McGimly winds up and cracks Guillaume with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

McGimly is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McGimly slips nicely into half guard.
McGimly prevents Guillaume from improving his position.

That's time! McGimly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McGimly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guillaume tries to avoid it but McGimly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guillaume to the ground. Guillaume escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGimly shoots for a double leg takedown but Guillaume sprawls well. He's pushed McGimly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McGimly scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Guillaume doesn't seem bothered though.

McGimly is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Guillaume frees his head nicely. Oh but McGimly has switched to an armbar! Guillaume is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
