Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.
Vega misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jones tries to land knees in the clinch but Vega avoids the damage to the body.

Vega is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing.
Vega misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrey Vega will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Vega counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jones working for a triangle but Vega defends it easily.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vega gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Vega cracks Jones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Vega is working for a guillotine from mount but Jones frees his head quite easily.
