Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nanak Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Darude - Sandstorm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nanak Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Ang! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh misses with a body shot
and Ang counters by clinching up. Singh tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ang avoids it. Ang lands on the inside with an uppercut. Singh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ang backwards. Ang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ang fails in his attempt to clinch. Singh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ang manages to avoid it. Singh's corner calls for a 1-2. Singh obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Singh clinches. Ang is trying to push Singh away but Singh has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Singh throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Ang blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A hook to the body from Singh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ang lands a shoulder strike. Ang tries to circle away but Singh has him pinned against the cage. Ang is trying to push Singh away but Singh has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh misses with a hook from the clinch. Singh misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Ang wants to get back to striking at distance but Singh won't allow it.

Singh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ang tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Singh counters with a stiff right hand. Singh misses the shot to the body. Ang on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Singh throws a leg kick but Ang sees it coming and checks it nicely. Singh bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Singh is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ang will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Ang prevents Singh from moving into mount. Ang tries to buck Singh off but Singh is having none of it. Ang prevents Singh from moving into mount. Ang is letting Singh control him for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ang looks to move to half guard but instead Singh has passed into mount! Damn! Singh looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ang working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ang is controlling an arm, preventing Singh from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Ang tries to improve his position but instead Singh has taken his back! Singh controlling the position well here. Ang rolled but Singh kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Singh has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nanak Singh dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Singh throws a leg kick and Ang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ang. Singh is looking to control Ang's arms but Ang gets an underhook and turns him. Now Singh has his back to the cage. Nice body punch from Singh. Ang blocks a body shot from Singh. Singh keeps control of Ang as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ang checks a low kick from Singh. Singh loads up on a big right hand but Ang slips the punch. Singh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ang counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Singh fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Singh thows a body shot but no joy. Singh darts in and clinches Ang up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh struggles to land a body shot inside as Ang controls his hands.
Singh scores with a shot to the side of Ang's head. Singh stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Singh works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ang is breathing heavily. Ang blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Singh tries to throw a body punch but Ang avoids it by throwing Singh back against the cage. Singh can't find room to land a body shot as Ang controls the action.

Still in the clinch, Singh scores with a nice short uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Singh lands with a short head shot on the inside. Singh gets control of Ang's arms and successfully pulls guard. Singh will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Singh has Ang pulled in close to control his posture. Singh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ang is one step ahead there. Ang throws a big right hand that misses. Singh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ang is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Singh has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ang is looking to defend but Singh has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ang! Singh pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ang taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nanak Singh! Nanak Singh bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
