Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horror Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws a head kick that misses
and Bag counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Machida keeping moving, preventing Bag from controlling successfully.
Machida has control of Bag's left arm, preventing Bag from doing any damage.
Bag must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bag is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Machida is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bag can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Machida misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Machida has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Machida manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bag manages to get himself to full guard.

Machida is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Machida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bag swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Machida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Machida throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bag works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Machida drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bag manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Machida has Bag in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Machida pulls Bag in close to prevent any damage.
Bag postures up in Machida's guard and throws a big left but Machida blocks it.
Bag wants to control from the top but Machida keeps moving.
Machida will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Bag decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Machida's guard.

Horror Bag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Machida sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Machida on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Machida tries to get out of the position.

Bag looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Machida with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bag connects with a nice short shot to Machida's temple.
