Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Nakkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakkeli has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niko Nakkeli! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakkeli on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by James. James obviously looking to wear him down.
Nakkeli throws a series of strikes that have James backpedaling.
It looks like Jesse James has been cut. James looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. James throws a hook but Nakkeli avoids it easily. Nakkeli staying out of range there. James throws a head kick that Nakkeli semi-blocks.
Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James connects with a leg kick. Nakkeli looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. James jabs Nakkeli right on the nose. Nakkeli blinks but takes it well. James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nakkeli.
James throws a low kick but Nakkeli moves out of range easily. Nakkeli throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nakkeli takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nakkeli throws a shot to the body.
Nakkeli displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from James.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakkeli shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nakkeli was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nakkeli wants to get back to his feet but James is holding on tight.
James tries to hold on but Nakkeli postures up. Nakkeli stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. James connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nakkeli. Nakkeli circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nakkeli misses with a looping right. James tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nakkeli is able to avoid easily. James slips under a jab from Nakkeli.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James lands a nice shot that snaps Nakkeli's head back.
James takes a swing at Nakkeli's ribcage but misses. Nakkeli connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nakkeli closes the distance and clinches. Nakkeli tries to break free but James pushes him back against the ropes. James creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Nakkeli's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Nakkeli drops to his knees and James pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse James! Our winner, Jesse James, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
