Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Chidwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Derrick Elliott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Chidwick! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elliott rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chidwick moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Elliott throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Elliott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Chidwick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chidwick forces Elliott back against the cage and clinches. Elliott is looking to break free of the clinch but Chidwick has double underhooks. Chidwick lands an elbow just above Elliott 's eye. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chidwick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chidwick moves in looking to clinch but Elliott pushes him off. Chidwick moves out of range of the body kick from Elliott.
Chidwick tries to close the distance and clinch but Elliott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A punch combination from Elliott misses. Chidwick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Elliott but Elliott pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chidwick avoids a punch combination nicely.

Elliott tries to bum rush Chidwick with a series of wild strikes but Chidwick uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Elliott tries to close the distance and clinch but Chidwick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A punch combination from Elliott misses. Elliott looks to land a combination but Chidwick avoids it well. Elliott throws a right and a left that Chidwick avoids nicely. Chidwick falls off balance throwing a combination
and Elliott counters with a left and a right that stings Chidwick. Elliott is breathing heavily. Elliott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. No luck for Chidwick with that takedown attempt. Chidwick feints and as Elliott raises his hands in defense, Chidwick changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chidwick stops Elliott from standing up. Elliott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chidwick on the ground. Chidwick trying to control the position from guard on top but Elliott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chidwick might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Elliott kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Elliott can't keep his opponent in guard - Chidwick advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elliott keeps control of the position for the meantime. Chidwick wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Chidwick is keen to just control but Elliott is a slippery customer. Elliott wants to get back to his feet. Chidwick is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elliott defends it well. Elliott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Elliott is trying to stand up here but Chidwick is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Elliott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chidwick tries for a takedown but Elliott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Elliott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alex Chidwick will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Chidwick counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Elliott is out cold! A devastating KO!
