The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vemola tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kdkkd swivels and escapes.
Kdkkd fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vemola looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vemola fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kdkkd to the ground. Vemola is now in Kdkkd's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Vemola content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kdkkd has locked up a guillotine! Kdkkd's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Vemola is holding on here and Kdkkd must be using up a lot of energy. Vemola has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kdkkd gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
