Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kal Too (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DuShayne Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kal Too! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, DuShayne Walters! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walters looks to score with a jab to the body but Too is just out of range. Walters keeps the fight on the outside. Too shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walters pinned against the cage. Walters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Walters throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Too stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Too just misses with a punch to the body.
Too shoots and misses and Walters counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Walters misses with a body shot.
Walters throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Too tries to clinch up. Too fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kal Too. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walters cracks Too with a good jab. Walters throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A right-left combo lands from Walters. Too moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Too doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Walters wants a takedown.
Walters gets a trip takedown into half guard. Walters is trying to control the action in half guard but Too is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Too is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Walters's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Walters's back! Too throwing wild punches that miss their target. Too is persistently looking for the submission but Walters is defending it well.
You can see the frustration on Walters's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Too working for the choke. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Too is trying to stick to Walters's back but Walters is turning into Too. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Too's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Walters. Walters trying to control the position from guard on top but Too is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Too manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Too trying to control but Walters is having none of it. Too sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walters is in all sorts of trouble here.
Too is stalling here but it's allowed Walters to get half guard.
Too tries to pass the half guard into mount. Walters knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Too is working hard here to advance position. Walters is trying to maintain the position but Too is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Too is trying to control. Walters wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Too wants to stand up but Walters is controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Too dives in and grabs Walters's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walters pushes down on Too's head and hops out. Walters swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Horrible takedown by Too or perhaps it was just good defense by Walters which made him look bad. Walters misses with a body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walters uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Too.
Walters slaps away a takedown attempt from Too, before circling back to the center of the mat. Too throws a one two combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kal Too will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Too throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Walters slips a straight right by Too. Too is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walters. Walters misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Too.
Too throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walters was covering up waiting for the punch and Too finishes the takedown easily into guard. Walters keeping moving, preventing Too from controlling successfully. Walters being controlled here, momentarily. Walters has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Too has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walters struggling a bit here. Too is looking to take a break and control but Walters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Walters is trying to control Too's posture but Too avoids it. Too decides to take the fight back to the feet. Walters just misses with a punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Too tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Too fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walters sprawls well initially but Too persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Too working Walters over with strikes. Too wants to pass the guard but Walters is defending well. Walters regains full guard. Nicely done. Walters lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Too! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Walters lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Walters controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Too holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Walters tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kal Too overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Walters raining down shots from the mount! The referee warns Too that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Too trying desperately to get to his feet.
Walters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Too is looking to escape. Walters cracks Too with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walters with shots to the head and body - Too looks very uncomfortable down there. Walters scoring with strikes but Too is staying in there. Too working to try and regain half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Too is squirming around, avoiding Walters's attempts to control the action. Too is looking to improve his position but Walters isn't that keen on the idea. Walters postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Too looks a forlorn figure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walters controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DuShayne Walters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Too takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Walters displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Too. Too misses with a jab, cross combination.

Walters tries to free his leg and advance position but Too is retaining full guard. Walters trying to control the position from guard on top but Too is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walters won't allow Too to sweep him here. Walters content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Too can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walters controls the pace. The strikes coming from Walters are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walters trying to control the position but Too is working away. Walters landing a few strikes. Walters taking a break here but Too is having none of it and regains half guard. Walters sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Too regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Walters. Walters pushing down on Too's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Walters throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Too is looking to improve his position.
Walters has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Walters wants to control but Too is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walters controlling the action here. Too won't allow Walters to pass to mount. Walters looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. Too is looking for a sweep. Walters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Walters lands strikes from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! DuShayne Walters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Walters has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
