Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orion Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rickson Araujo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orion Cook! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Araujo throws a lazy uppercut
and Araujo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Araujo missing with a left hand there. Cook was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cook misses with a hook
and Araujo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Araujo with a body punch. A glancing blow. Araujo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Araujo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cook walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Araujo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Araujo cracks the inside of Cook's front leg. Araujo throws an overhand right that lands on Cook's shoulder, as Cook tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Araujo looks to land a right hand but Cook moved out of range. Araujo throws a hook but Cook blocks it. Cook takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cook misses with a straight right. No luck with that takedown attempt from Cook. Donk. Araujo catches Cook right on the button with a cross. Cook uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Araujo. Cook takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Araujo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cook in his tracks. Cook checks a leg kick. Good standup being displayed there by Araujo as he connects with a hook. Araujo connects with a leg kick. Cook looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cook shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Araujo sprawls well. Araujo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cook gets slowly back to his feet. Rickson Araujo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orion Cook. Araujo lands a head shot. Cook blocks a head kick by Araujo.
Rickson Araujo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cook on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook shoots in for a takedown but Araujo shows good takedown defense. Araujo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Cook changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Araujo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cook throws a strike aimed at the side of Araujo's head but Araujo avoids it well. Araujo struggling a bit here. Cook creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Araujo is trying to get back to half guard. Cook has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Cook is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Araujo has escaped the position, nice work there. Cook looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cook tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rickson Araujo dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Araujo lets loose with a powerful body kick. Cook will feel that in the morning. Cook avoids a punch combination nicely.
Araujo scores with a decent looking hook. Sloppy strikes from Cook. Those never looked like landing. Araujo is looking to slow Cook down with leg kicks. Araujo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rickson Araujo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Araujo lands with a shot to the body. Some bone on bone action there as Cook checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Araujo lands the left hand. Araujo misses with an uppercut. Cook throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Araujo sees it coming and avoids it easily. A cross from Araujo lands. Cook shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Araujo pinned against the cage. Araujo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Araujo loads up on a big right hand but Cook slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Araujo misses with a hook. Cook ducked under it nicely. Araujo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Cook uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Araujo.
Araujo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Araujo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Araujo tries to score with a low kick but Cook moves his leg out of the way. Some bone on bone action there as Cook checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Araujo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook missing with a left hand there. Araujo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cook slips under a jab from Araujo. Cook shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Araujo but Araujo pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Araujo - the referee stops the clock and Cook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Araujo. Cook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Cook avoids the head kick by Araujo.
Araujo with a body punch. A glancing blow. Araujo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. No luck for Cook with that takedown attempt. Rickson Araujo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orion Cook. Araujo scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Araujo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Araujo slips under a jab. Araujo lands with a hook. Cook tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Rickson Araujo is winning the standup battle so far. Cook staying out of range there. Araujo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cook's head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Araujo lands a nice shot that snaps Cook's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action! Araujo cracks Cook with an open hand slap. Cook fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rickson Araujo dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Araujo moves out of range of the strikes. Araujo throws a poor cross that misses
and Cook counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cook. Cook has gone for a leg lock! Araujo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cook's guard. Araujo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cook on the ground. Araujo sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cook manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Cook throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Cook scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Orion Cook has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cook landing shots from mount. Cook lands a heavy elbow. Cook landing strikes, looking to finish! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cook pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Cook working for a submission but Araujo is keeping him at bay. Cook throws some wild stikes that Araujo manages to avoid easily.
Araujo is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Cook won't let Araujo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Cook looking to ground and pound but Araujo is blocking nicely. Cook breaks from Araujo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Cook cracks Araujo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Araujo is rocked! Cook postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Araujo badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Cook around the waist but Cook pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Cook is the winner by TKO! Cook jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orion Cook! Our winner, Orion Cook, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
