Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zain Jaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank White will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zain Jaya! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank White! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaya misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaya's waist but Jaya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side. White shoots in for a takedown but Jaya shows good takedown defense. Some bone on bone action there as White checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Jaya throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. White fails to land the takedown. Zain Jaya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank White. White avoids the head kick by Jaya.
White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jaya. White moves out of range of the body kick from Jaya.
White shoots in and drives through. Jaya sprawls well. White displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jaya throws out the jab. White moves out of range of the body kick. White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jaya but Jaya pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaya throws a quick head kick that skims the top of White's head. White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jaya listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jaya throws a head kick that misses. White closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jaya circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jaya is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Jaya circles away and we're back to standing. White drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. White trying to control the action but Jaya is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jaya is working to avoid the ground and pound but White connects with a decent elbow. Jaya managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by White.
White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jaya keeps working. Jaya struggling a bit here. White working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. White looks gassed! Jaya is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. White blocks the body kick.

White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. White fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jaya throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A jab from Jaya does it's job there. Nice takedown defense from Jaya. No joy for White on that attempt. Jaya misses with a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. White takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. White is still on wobbly legs! Can Jaya finish him? Jaya feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to White's calf. White seems to have recovered his senses. Jaya throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A jab lands there for Jaya. Jaya misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jaya explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Nice jab there from Jaya. White shoots in looking for a takedown. Jaya tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jaya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jaya throws a series of strikes that have White backpedaling.
Jaya throws a quick inside leg kick. Jaya stuffs the takedown attempt from White. White gets slowly back to his feet. White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Jaya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White passes Jaya's left leg - he's now in half guard. White is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jaya doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time White. Jaya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground. White is keen to just control but Jaya is a slippery customer. White looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. White lands strikes from half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. White uses his free foot to push down on Jaya's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jaya. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zain Jaya dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jaya to the mat! Jaya manages to get full guard. Jaya keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. Jaya has his hands on White's head, controlling the position. White postures up.
White wants to pass the guard but Jaya is keeping the position. White throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jaya not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jaya misses the shot to the body. Jaya lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
White is breathing heavily. Jaya swings for the body but White moves out of range.
Jaya feints and then cracks White's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow White down. White shoots in but no luck this time. White shoots for a takedown but Jaya saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jaya is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Jaya connects with a solid leg kick. White tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. White takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. White shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. White showed some decent athleticism there. Jaya wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White wants to pass to mount but Jaya is defending the position. Jaya might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jaya trying to control here.
White is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! White has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Jaya is forced to tap!
