Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Pugh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Curk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Pugh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Curk!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curk misses with a head kick.
Curk tries to clinch
and Pugh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Curk looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pugh has picked Curk up and slammed him! Curk can't keep hold of the triangle and Pugh manages to pass to side control!
Pugh decides to stand back up.
Pugh misses with a jab, cross combination.
Curk lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pugh backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pugh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Curk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pugh tries to avoid it but Curk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pugh to the ground. Pugh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Curk tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Pugh counters with a shoot takedown. Curk fights it but they end up in guard.
Curk looking for subs off his back but Pugh has passed one foot through into half guard.
Curk looks gassed!
Pugh is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Curk is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Paul Pugh!
