Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Deisel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brown Maynard!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deisel scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Brown Maynard has been cut.
Deisel misses with a body shot.
Deisel gets a clinch.
Maynard displaying some good clinch control by pressing Deisel up against the cage.
Maynard wants a takedown.
Maynard fails to pull the fight into his guard.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Deisel.
Deisel is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Jay Deisel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brown Maynard.
Maynard wants to take the fight to the mat but Deisel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Deisel presses Maynard against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Maynard is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Maynard drops down looking for an ankle pick but Deisel pulls his leg out and moves away.
A jab from Deisel does it's job there.

Maynard swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Deisel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Deisel wants to clinch up but Maynard keeps it at a distance.
Maynard takes one to the side of the head.
Deisel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Maynard changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Deisel fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Deisel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A jab lands there for Deisel.
Maynard looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Deisel scores with a body shot.
Deisel tries to clinch up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maynard.
Maynard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Maynard is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Deisel lands an overhand right.
Maynard is still on wobbly legs! Can Deisel finish him?
Deisel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Deisel connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Maynard tumbling to the canvas! Deisel pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Maynard was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jay Deisel!
