Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Ruben Kyed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Dyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyed kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Imagine Dragons - Radioactive. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Ruben Kyed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Dyson!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyed scores with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Dyson or perhaps it was just good defense by Kyed which made him look bad.
Kyed gets a clinch.
Kyed lands with a right to the head.
Dyson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kyed walks away with a smile on his face. Dyson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kyed lands a jab.
Dyson is rocked!
Kyed misses with a few strikes there.
Dyson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kyed stuffs the takedown.
Mark Ruben Kyed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Dyson.
Kyed closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kyed counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kyed.

Kyed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kyed is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kyed wants to get up but he can't break Dyson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dyson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Kyed prevents Dyson from getting back to his feet.
Kyed lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Dyson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dyson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kyed defends well.
Kyed wants to control from the top but Dyson keeps moving.

Kyed has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dyson is proving hard to escape from.

Dyson misses with a double jab
and Kyed counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dyson won't be happy with that.

Kyed misses with a few strikes there.
Dyson moves into the clinch.
Kyed jumps guard but Dyson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kyed is trying to break free.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kyed looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Dyson as Kyed tries to tie him up.

Dyson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Kyed breaks from the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kyed.
Kyed darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kyed is breathing heavily.
Kyed wants to stand but Dyson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Kyed is thwarting Dyson's attempts to control the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dyson looks to score with a jab to the body but Kyed is just out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dyson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kyed - the referee stops the clock and Dyson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kyed. Dyson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kyed clinches up with Dyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Kyed has Dyson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dyson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Kyed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kyed tries a head kick but it misses.
Kyed stuffs the takedown attempt from Dyson. Dyson gets slowly back to his feet.
Kyed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dyson dives in and grabs Kyed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kyed pushes down on Dyson's head and hops out.
Kyed keeps the fight on the outside.

Kyed swinging wildly here.
Dyson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kyed circles away.
Mark Ruben Kyed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Dyson.

and Kyed counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dyson's guard now.

Dyson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kyed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kyed passes Dyson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kyed seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dyson is trying to maintain the position but Kyed is very close to passing his half guard.
Kyed drops an elbow to the side of Dyson's head.

Kyed leaves Dyson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dyson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kyed misses with a double jab
and Dyson moves into the clinch.
Kyed breaks the clinch.
Dyson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kyed manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dyson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kyed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dyson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kyed is fending him off so far but Dyson persists. Nope, Kyed circles away and we're back to standing.
Dyson moves in looking to clinch but Kyed pushes him off.
Kyed swats away the attempt to clinch by Dyson.

Kyed stuffs the takedown.
Dyson misses with a right hand
and Kyed counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dyson is trying to escape the position but Kyed is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kyed has hold of Dyson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dyson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kyed cranks the arm and Dyson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dyson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mark Ruben Kyed!
After winning the bout, Mark Ruben Kyed thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
