Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sky Scrape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Scrape might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jark Prongo - Movin through your system. Vic Bauer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sky Scrape!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Vic Bauer!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrape stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Scrape misses with a low kick.
Scrape misses with a kick to the body.
Scrape misses with a few strikes there.
Bauer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bauer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Scrape is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Scrape clinches.
Scrape slowing the pace effectively.
Bauer lands an uppercut.

Bauer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bauer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scrape manages to avoid it.
Bauer throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bauer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Scrape.

Bauer takes a swing at Scrape's ribcage but misses.
Bauer checks a leg kick.
Scrape closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bauer circles away.
Bauer ducks under a wild hook from Scrape.

and Bauer counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A slow jab from Scrape misses its intended target.
Bauer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bauer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Scrape throws a nice inside leg kick.
Scrape lands with a right hand.
Scrape darts in trying to clinch
and Bauer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Scrape's knee momentarily.
Scrape works over Bauer's head and body with a nice combination.
Bauer looks to land a left hand but Scrape moved out of range nicely.

Scrape throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bauer on the side of the head.
Bauer dips to his left and cracks Scrape with an uppercut!
Bauer walks into a jab.
Bauer circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Bauer to counter with a crisp jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Bauer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Scrape takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Vic Bauer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Scrape lands an overhand right.
Scrape lands with a cross.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Scrape throws a lazy right hand but Bauer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Scrape shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bauer as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sky Scrape. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scrape throws a hook to the side of Bauer's head but Bauer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A bone on bone clash there as Bauer blocks the leg kick.
Bauer slips a jab from Scrape.
Sloppy strikes from Bauer. Those never looked like landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scrape scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Scrape is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bauer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Scrape.
Scrape connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bauer momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sky Scrape dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Scrape throws a head kick but Bauer moves out of range.
Scrape will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Scrape lands with an uppercut that bounces Bauer off the cage and back into range.
Scrape throws a looping overhand right but Bauer ducks down to avoid it.
Sky Scrape is winning the standup battle so far.
Scrape tries to close the distance and clinch but Bauer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That kick from Scrape tenderised Bauer's leg. Bauer is trying to keep his angry face on.
Scrape moves out of range of the leg kick from Bauer.
Scrape throws a big shot that misses.
Scrape pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bauer back to the cage. Scrape follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bauer takes one to the chin there.

Bauer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scrape.
Bauer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Scrape throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bauer looks to throw the jab but Scrape is out of range.
Bauer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Scrape eats them both and turns towards Bauer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bauer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Scrape tries a low kick but Bauer avoids it.
A big left from Bauer misses.
Scrape throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Bauer to counter with a crisp jab.
Bauer takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Scrape throws a head kick but Bauer moves out of range.
Scrape closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bauer counters with a left to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Scrape throws a right and a left that both miss.
Scrape throws a front kick aimed at Bauer's knee but Bauer avoids it well.
Bauer throws a leg kick but Scrape sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bauer throws a big shot that misses.
Vic Bauer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bauer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Scrape.
Scrape throws a chopping leg kick but Bauer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Scrape lands with a cross.
Scrape is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Scrape throws a big shot that misses.
Nice uppercut there from Scrape.
Bauer ducks right into an uppercut from Scrape.

Bauer drops Scrape with a left right combo! Bauer follows him down to the ground into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Scrape is rocked!
Bauer is looking to take a break and control but Scrape is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Scrape is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Scrape's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Scrape prevents Bauer from moving into mount.
Bauer throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Scrape works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Bauer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Vic Bauer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Scrape pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Scrape shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bauer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bauer is trying to get back to his feet.
Bauer is working to avoid the ground and pound but Scrape connects with a decent elbow.
Scrape taking a breather here.
Bauer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Scrape wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Scrape will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Scrape throws an elbow but Bauer slips to the side and avoids it well.

Bauer is looking to regain half guard here but Scrape keeps moving and retains side control.

Scrape has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Scrape postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scrape wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bauer keeps working.
Bauer takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bauer takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Scrape fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Scrape looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bauer is avoiding damage well.
Bauer is trying to buck Scrape off.
Bauer is trying to control Scrape's posture but Scrape avoids it.
Bauer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Scrape kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Scrape is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bauer is pushing Scrape's head away, looking to escape. Scrape manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scrape tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scrape has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bauer regains half guard there - taking advantage of Scrape's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Scrape passes to side control.
Bauer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scrape asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bauer tries to buck Scrape off but Scrape is having none of it.
Bauer is pushing Scrape's head away, looking to escape. Scrape manages to hold on to the position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Bauer regains half guard.
Scrape looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bauer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that's the end of the fight!
Sky Scrape showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Scrape has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
