Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, James Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Saenchai Sor Kingstar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingstar darts in and clinches Green up against the cage.
Kingstar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Green walks away with a smile on his face. Kingstar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice uppercut there from Kingstar.
Kingstar misses the shot to the body.
Green shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kingstar sprawls well. Kingstar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Green gets slowly back to his feet.
Green swinging wildly here.
Green moves out of range as Kingstar strikes.
Kingstar throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Green on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A decent looking cross lands there for Green.
Kingstar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Green tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kingstar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Green somewhat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kingstar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kingstar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kingstar fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Green is out of range.

Green changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kingstar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kingstar sneaks back into half guard.
Green throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Green is looking for a kimura but Kingstar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Green to get the leverage.
Green is trying to control. Kingstar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Green is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kingstar sees it coming and defends easily.

Green looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kingstar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kingstar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Green keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kingstar's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kingstar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Green doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that James Green will probably get the nod.

We're going to have a standup here because James Green wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kingstar is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Kingstar circles away and we're back to standing.

Green stalks Kingstar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kingstar's face. Kingstar staggers backwards, shaken.

James Green dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Green makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Green, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
