These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cliff Crocodile! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jean Montillo! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Crocodile. Crocodile tries to clinch but fails miserably and Crocodile takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Montillo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Montillo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Crocodile avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Montillo. Montillo is trying to control. Crocodile wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Montillo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Montillo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. This has been an exciting period of action! Montillo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crocodile wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Montillo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Montillo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Crocodile's head. Crocodile wants to get back to his feet. Montillo is trying to control the action in half guard but Crocodile is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Montillo throwing shots but Crocodile is blocking nicely. Montillo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Montillo stops Crocodile from getting back to his feet.
Montillo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crocodile sees it coming and defends easily. Montillo is keen to just control but Crocodile is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montillo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Crocodile kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Crocodile wants to get back to his feet.
Crocodile is not content to let Montillo control the position. Montillo is pressing down on Crocodile's thigh, looking to free his foot. Crocodile is holding on for now. Crocodile wants to improve his position but Montillo is controlling well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montillo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Crocodile is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
