Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kullervo Pershiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Nye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kullervo Pershiki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bill Nye! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nye clinches up with Pershiki and pushes him back against the cage. Pershiki is trying to stall.
Nye pulls guard effortlessly. Pershiki gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Nye fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pershiki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pershiki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Nye tries to clinch up. Pershiki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nye shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pershiki wants to get back to his feet but Nye is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pershiki is working an open guard so Nye takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nye slips a jab and a cross from Pershiki.

Pershiki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nye circles away quickly and effectively. Pershiki fails to land with a series of punches.
Pershiki walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nye checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Nye is looking to clinch. Nye shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pershiki is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nye is controlling him. Nye tries to stand but Pershiki is controlling from the bottom. Nye won't allow Pershiki to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nye is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nye stops Pershiki from standing up. Nye is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Nye. Pershiki keeps the fight on the outside. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pershiki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nye fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Nye misses with a takedown attempt enabling Pershiki to counter with a crisp jab. A chopping leg kick lands by Pershiki. Nye has Pershiki up against the cage in a clinch.
Nye decides to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pershiki has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nye is proving hard to escape from. Nye has Pershiki pulled in close to control his posture. Pershiki wants to stand and escape but instead Nye has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Pershiki wants to get back to his feet but Nye is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Nye gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Nye closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pershiki is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Nye lands an elbow that stopped Pershiki in his tracks for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nye escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nye tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pershiki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nye is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pershiki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pershiki keeps the fight on the outside. Pershiki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A punch combination from Pershiki misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nye tries to clinch there but Pershiki circles away.
Nye shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pershiki as he avoids it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pershiki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Nye dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nye darts in trying to clinch and Pershiki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A head kick by Nye misses and Pershiki counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pershiki throws a head kick but Nye moves out of range.

Pershiki is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nye to keep the fight standing. Nye has clasped his hands together around Pershiki's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Pershiki wants to get back to his feet but Nye drags him back down. The referee asks Nye politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nye prefers to stall for the moment though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nye stands up and we're back to a striking position. Nye closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pershiki goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nye prevents it.
Pershiki blocks a body shot from Nye. Pershiki wants to take the fight to the mat but Nye manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kullervo Pershiki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nye breaks the clinch.
Nye instigates a clinch. Nye lands a shoulder strike. Nye taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Nye gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Pershiki goes for a takedown attempt but Nye pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Pershiki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nye just stands there and leans against the cage. Pershiki goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nye prevents it.

Nye tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pershiki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nye tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pershiki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nye tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pershiki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nye shoots in but Pershiki avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pershiki swats away the attempt to clinch by Nye. Pershiki throws a right and a left that both miss. Nye shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pershiki as he jumps to the side. Pershiki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kullervo Pershiki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pershiki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nye is out of range. Pershiki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nye is out of range and Pershiki settles back down. Pershiki throws a right and a left that both miss. Pershiki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pershiki swats away the attempt to clinch by Nye. Nye fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pershiki is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nye rushes Pershiki and presses him up against the cage. Nye drags the fight down to the ground.
Nye wants to sweep but no luck. Pershiki tries to stand but Nye is controlling from the bottom. Nye wriggles free and stands up. Pershiki scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Pershiki keeps the fight on the outside. Nye wants to clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nye tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pershiki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kullervo Pershiki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nye just misses with a punch to the body.

Bill Nye showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Nye looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nye is looking to clinch but Pershiki is avoiding it.

Nye fails in his attempt to clinch. Nye wants to clinch. Pershiki stuffs the takedown attempt from Nye. Nye gets slowly back to his feet. Pershiki misses with a two punch combination.

Pershiki motions for Nye to come forward. Pershiki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bill Nye seems to be getting the better of the standup. Pershiki swats away the attempt to clinch by Nye. Pershiki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nye moves out of range of the leg kick from Pershiki. Pershiki is looking to wear down Nye with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Nye doesn't manage to clinch there - Pershiki circles away.

Nye gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A frustrated look appears on Pershiki's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nye pulls guard effortlessly. Nye is looking to stand up but Pershiki isn't so interested in that idea. Pershiki wants to stand but Nye has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Nye is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pershiki tries to sprawl out of it but Nye keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pershiki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kullervo Pershiki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Nye. Nye rushes Pershiki and presses him up against the cage. Nye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pershiki gets tackled into the cage by Nye. Nye maintains the clinch. Nye goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Pershiki throws a punch but it's blocked by Nye. Pershiki tries to land knees in the clinch but Nye avoids the damage to the body. Nye lands a good knee to the midsection. Pershiki won't want to take too many of those. Pershiki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nye pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nye takes a swing at Pershiki's ribcage but misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nye is looking to clinch. Kullervo Pershiki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pershiki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that's the end of the fight! Bill Nye comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nye has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
